 喜愛大馬力、高排氣量汽車的美國消費者，近幾年也被節能環保意識所影響，陸續將複合動力系統以及渦輪引擎列為車輛主要動力來源，至於歐洲市場常見的柴油渦輪引擎，在現今科技奧援下其動力輸出或節能表現都能與汽油引擎相對等。因此除了當地車廠外，歐洲許多車廠也已經計畫好會在未來幾年導入更多柴油車到美國販售。

 說到飆車電影，相信很多讀者或車迷的直覺反應多半是近年火紅的，且第7集正如火如荼拍攝中的「玩命關頭」；然而，真要從電玩卡通情節躍身翻拍至電影大螢幕上的，老實說可能就比較鮮少，除了前幾年較為知名由周杰倫主演的「頭文字D」、翻拍更為早期馬赫GO！GO！GO！的「駭速快手」，以及灣岸競速之外，其他可以說是更為稀少了。
