避免機場新跑道噪音干擾 吳志揚履堪大園國中新校預定地

配合桃園航空城計畫啟動，桃園國際機場第三跑道興建後，避免跑道旁的大園國中同學上課受到噪音影響，縣立大園國中決定遷校，縣長吳志揚23日與大園地方仕伸鄉親一同履勘遷校預定地。吳志揚縣長期盼未來新的大園國中，在國際大園高中注入資源後，讓未來就讀大園國中的同學們，也能享有開闊的國際觀。
吳志揚縣長也再次向大園鄉親保證，大園國中都已經要遷校了，證明桃園航空城計畫確實已啟動了，而且正如火如荼的推動著。
在大園鄉長呂水田、大園鄉籍縣議員王淳長、徐其萬，以及近百位大園鄉親的陪同下，吳縣長於上午來到位於大園鄉南港貨運園區內的文中一履勘即將於明(103)年8月動工的大園國中遷校預定地。
吳縣長指出，外界一直有桃園航空城計畫是否「真」的會啟動的質疑聲浪。他表示，航空城計畫將於今年底前完成都市計畫，未來會陸續進行區段徵收手續。他同時強調，如今大園國中都已配合未來桃園機場第三跑道的興建而決定要遷校，而且要在今年12月前完成前置規畫，103年完成審議發包，103年8月動工施作，同時將於105年8月前完成全校的遷入作業，代表航空城計畫真的已經啟動了。
吳縣長同時表示，新的大園國中校址，位於桃園航空城範圍內的熱區，希望未來能在國際大園高中資源注入下，讓就讀大園國中的同學，同樣具有國際觀的能力。
大園國中校長沈杏熾指出，建校至今已61年的大園國中，目前有69班，學生2151人。因位於桃園機場西側，未來桃園機場第三跑道興建後，受噪音影響加劇，同時為了因應航空城計畫，乃決定遷校。
沈校長表示，大園國中遷校預定地佔地約4.36公頃，10年8月遷校後，將規劃70個班級，同時興建活動中心和中心廚房，積極打造一個多元、創新、卓越、現代化的優質校園。
