警察報考身高限制　內政部：檢討

【王家俊／台北報導】報考警察有男性165公分、女性160公分以上的身高限制，遭外界質疑歧視，內政部長李鴻源上午出席立法院內政委員會受訪時說，「這個我們在檢討，有沒有辦法放寬，如何是合理的，有沒有必要放寬，警政署正在檢討，最快甚麼時候去問王（卓鈞）署長，但我們確實在檢討。」

王卓鈞則說，相關限制已經幾十年了，除了原住民有所不同，也是參考外國相關規定及國人平均身高，最近有部分人士及立委關心，警政署會進一步檢討。是否考慮放寬？王說，「目前還沒有。」警察的身高、體型及警察工作及執行勤務仍有相當關係。
