港特首：人民幣業務成港重點

香港行政長官梁振英今天說，去年底，香港的人民幣存款量超過1兆元，香港在人民幣國際化進程上，扮演非常重要角色。

綜合香港電子媒體報導，梁振英上午在一場國際金融論壇致詞時，談到全球經濟及香港的人民幣業務。

他說，歐洲經濟開始復甦，但部份歐元國家的失業率仍然居高不下，龐大債務未償還。

此外，梁振英指出，美國的就業及房屋市場有改善，但美方的量化寬鬆退場計畫將會影響市場，拖累經濟成長。

梁振英表示，香港作為人民幣最大離岸中心，去年底人民幣存款量已超過1兆元。

他說，香港在人民幣國際化路程上扮演相當重要的角色，預期未來10年，人民幣對香港金融業發展非常重要。
