統一獅張泰山在6日賽前累計1995支安打，有機會在本週獅隊主場達成兩千安安榮耀。
「森林王子」張泰山自1996年高中畢業後，即加盟中華職棒，歷經18年的職棒生涯，曾待過味全龍、興農牛以及現在的統一7-ELEVEn獅，一路走來締造許多榮耀紀錄。
截至2013年8月5日，「森林王子」生涯累積280支全壘打、1266分打點、1995支安打，皆為聯盟記錄的保持人，樹立一道後輩難以超越的泰山障礙。
自2003年起至2013年，張泰山為聯盟目前唯一連續10個球季安打數破百、全壘打數破雙位數的球員，至今，張泰山的生涯安打數即將破兩千，不僅為個人達到新的里程碑，也為聯盟再添上一筆新紀錄。
本週二起統一獅將於高雄澄清湖、嘉義市立棒球場、台中洲際棒球場及斗六棒球場，進行主場賽事，兩千安榮耀紀錄將有機會在統一獅主場賽事達成。
