長期服用避孕藥　增加罹患青光眼風險

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】美國一項研究發現，婦女長期服用口服式避孕藥達3年或以上，增加罹患青光眼的風險。

加州大學舊金山分校訪問了3406名中年婦女，發現不論任何品牌的避孕藥，婦女只要連續服用達3年或以上，罹患青光眼的風險，較不服藥的婦女高出一倍，但目前並沒有證據顯示，避孕藥的主要成分雌激素，是導致青光眼的元兇。研究人員鼓勵服用避孕藥3年或以上的婦女，接受青光眼檢查。

病人如因家族病史、或本身近視、糖尿病等原因，都會增加罹患青光眼的風險。青光眼導致病人視力下降和視野收窄，在香港是頭號致盲眼疾。
