李鴻源：如果可以選擇 願留任

針對內閣將小幅改組的傳聞，內政部長李鴻源上午表示：「我從來沒想過這件事情！」但如果可以選擇，會選擇留下來把事情做好。

他說到目前為止，沒有長官跟閣員談論這件事，但不管有沒有改組，也應該把份內事情做好。目前內政部正忙著做年度盤整、檢討，當作明年施政依據，不像媒體以為大家都在想明年會不會留下來。

李鴻源說，他留任現職或回台大任教，最大考量是在內政部推動的這些工作，其實明年非常關鍵，如果可以選擇，會選擇把事情做好，把事情做好比較重要。
