哈雷機車在日本推出三輪車款Tri Glide

美國重型機車製造商哈雷（Harley-Davidson）本月起開始在日本推出三輪車款Tri Glide，入手價由400萬日圓（3.9萬美元）起跳，想吸引不會騎兩輪摩托車的汽車族上門。

哈雷日本營運負責人法瑞爾（Stuart Farrell）說：「想愛上哈雷很容易。你可以把哈雷機車停在豪華轎車旁，人們依舊會注意到它。」

日本將三輪車歸類為汽車，這代表任何有汽車駕駛執照的人都能騎著Tri Glide上路，而不需要機車駕照。另據日本警視廳，騎三輪車無需戴安全帽，而且可以駛上高速公路。

日本是哈雷在美國外最大的市場。法瑞爾說，在日本推出三輪車，擁有汽車駕照的潛在消費者高達8,000萬人，超越有機車駕照的500萬人。不過，哈雷也打算在日本推出目前哈雷體積最小的兩輪車款Street。
