運動人士促美批准伊波拉藥

國際健診界由「變革」網站 (chgnag.org)領銜，30日向美國聯邦食品藥物管理局 (FDA)請願，要求FDA盡快批准據信治療伊波拉有特效的一種新藥TKM-Ebola，該藥由加拿大藥廠Tekmira研發，對殺死靈長類動物身上的伊波拉病毒相當有效，今年稍早開始第一階段人類臨床試用，但今年7月，FDA 宣布禁止臨床試用，理由是試用以志願者為對象，而事實是，14位參與試用的對象都安全無恙。
