祼照風波後初登板　韋蘭德虎威盡失

老虎賽揚投手韋蘭德(Justin Verlander)與女友凱特奧普頓(Kate Upton)祼照與性愛影片外流後，今天首度出賽，先發6.2局被擊出9安打，失7分，責失6分，不過隊友表現比他更差，全場1分未得，老虎終場以0比7遭到印地安人完封。
 
這場比賽對韋蘭德相當重要，畢竟今年他的表現不佳，防禦率是08年以來新高，而且8月初因右肩不適跳過1場先發，如今又陷入祼照風波。韋蘭德昨天在記者會上強調，自己不會回應個人私生活，希望外界焦點放在他球場上的表現，如何封助老虎打進季後賽。
 
老虎賽前落後皇家半場勝差，有機會重新奪回美聯中區龍頭，不過韋蘭德開局就被山塔那(Carlos Santana)轟出2分砲，4局下再失2分。隊友始終無法火力相挺，韋蘭德在7局下再失3分退場，苦吞第12敗(12勝)，防禦率也升至4.80。
 
印地安人李振昌沒有登板機會，因為24歲的先發投手薩拉扎(Danny Salazar)投出生涯第1場完封，被擊出8安打，無四壞，9次三振。薩拉札近況絕佳，已連續17局無失分。(王覺一／綜合報導)
