自全新第七代Golf在2012年巴黎車展發表後，有關於VW汽車的部份焦點也都擺放於這輛車上。其實早在2009年問世的第五代Polo，也是原廠都會車款中不可或缺的角色，如今現在也已經進入小改款週期。而日前國外媒體也拍攝到測試車，代表著新年式Polo問世的時間也越來越接近了。
