【短片】揭無人機面紗　英空軍首邀媒體入訪

【李寧怡／綜合外電報導】以美國為首的西方國家近年頻以無人戰機在中東炸恐怖份子，但也造成眾多無辜平民傷亡，引發抨擊。英國皇家空軍日前首度邀媒體進入無人戰機操控中心，揭開該國無人戰機運作的神秘面紗。

這個無人機操控中心位於英國瓦丁頓空軍基地，1名飛行員與1名系統控制員透過高解析衛星畫面，操控1萬3000公里外阿富汗上空的「死神」（Reaper）無人機，讓這架造價約4.8億元台幣無人機發射飛彈，轟炸在路邊埋伏炸彈的「神學士」伊斯蘭激進份子。

資深飛官帕皮尼表示，無人戰機已「不可或缺」，並強調「只要有一點不確定，我們都不會發射飛彈」。然而美軍在阿富汗、巴基斯坦和葉門等地都用無人戰機，多年來導致數以百計平民身亡。
