加拿大魁北克通過　協助自殺合法化

加拿大魁北克省今日通過立法，准許絕症末期的病人在醫生協助下自殺，也是加拿大首見讓「協助自殺」(assisted suicide)正式合法化。

《法新社》報導指出，根據規定，只有成年且罹患絕症末期的魁北克居民，加上同意對病人預測病情與負責的醫生，才能適用此法。魁北克省長庫雅爾(Philippe Couillard)強調，這項法案處理的是臨終照護，並非安樂死。

由於加拿大聯邦刑事法禁止安樂死，魁北克的這項協助自殺法，也造成司法爭議。此外，也有人士批評，此舉可能導致濫用和不必要的死亡。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
