美派三百名軍事顧問赴伊拉克

美國總統歐巴馬19日表示，他將派三百名軍事顧問前往伊拉克，協助伊拉克政府平亂。歐巴馬沒有特別提到空中攻擊，但他不排除未來實施「標靶」軍事行動。他並表示美國將在伊拉克加強情報工作，已著手和伊拉克方面聯合作業中心。和先前宣布的措施結合起來，歐巴馬總共可能派大約六百名部隊到伊拉克，也就是19日宣布的三百人，和正在部署於伊拉克境內與周邊的275人，這275人的任務是為美國大使館和其他美國設施提供安全與支援。。
