日本經濟產業省27日公佈經濟數據指出，2013年11月份日本工業生產指數速報值(經季節因素調整後)月增0.1%至99.4，連續第3個月呈現增長，惟增幅遜於Thomson Reuters事前所作調查月增0.4%的預估值、並遠遜於經產省原先自估的月增0.9%；當月日本工業生產指數原數值年增5.0%至100.0。

經產省指出，11月份日本工業生產指數呈現增長主要為運輸機械工業、情報通信機械工業和化學工業(不含醫藥品)等表現優於前月所致。就個別產品來看，促使工業生產呈現增長的項目依序為桌上型電腦、輕型乘用車和半導體製造裝置。

另外，11月份日本工業出貨指數(經季節因素調整後)為99.0，較前月下滑0.1%，3個月來首度呈現下滑；原數值年增6.5%至99.9。工業庫存指數(經季節因素調整後)較前月下滑1.9%至106.0，連續第4個月呈現下滑；原數值年減5.2%至108.7。工業庫存率指數(經季節因素調整後)月減1.4%至104.5，連續第3個月呈現下滑；原數值年減11.2%至104.3。

經產省預估2013年12月、2014年1月的工業生產指數將分別月增2.8%、月增4.6%。經產省並將整體工業生產動向維持於「生產持續呈現好轉動向」不變。
