台灣麥當勞︰未用偶氮二甲醯胺

〔自由時報記者楊雅民／台北報導〕台灣麥當勞昨日在官網發表聲明指出，餐廳所販售的麵包、鬆餅、蛋糕皆為台灣所生產，產品中並無添加「偶氮二甲醯胺」（azodicarbonamide ） ，完全符合台灣食品衛生安全標準，敬請顧客安心食用。

肯德基和漢堡王都表示，所販售的麵包都是在台灣新鮮烘焙的，並無添加偶氮二甲醯胺，請消費者安心。

「偶氮二甲醯胺」也是瑜伽墊、橡膠鞋底甚至人工皮革用來增加產品彈性的原料，日前因此引發美國消費者抗議。

美國知名潛艇堡連鎖店SUBWAY在當地數萬名消費者連署要求下，決定停用「偶氮二甲醯胺」麵粉改良劑。但又有外媒爆料，知名速食業者漢堡王、肯德基與麥當勞等在美分店，也有使用「偶氮二甲醯胺」來製作捲餅類與烘焙類食物，消息一出引發關切，台灣相關業者昨均強調並未添加。

食藥署日前指出，「偶氮二甲醯胺」在我國為合法食品添加劑，是一種品質改良劑，可改變麵粉筋性，調整麵團韌性與彈性，讓口感更加Ｑ彈。
