獅城最大野生巨鱷　嘴含鉤眼插棍慘死

號稱是新加坡最大的野生鱷魚、當地人暱稱「巴尼」(Barney)的鹹水海鱷，上月中旬被人發現口中含著大型金屬魚鉤、雙眼插著鐵棍，慘死在當地的克蘭芝(Kranji)蓄水池內。新加坡公共事業局經手調查這起離奇命案，但迄今都無法掌握盜獵者的身分。

巴尼重達400公斤、體長超過3.6公尺，目前懷疑下毒手的是非法偷渡客。巴尼遺體被發現後，新加坡當地的釣客紛紛上網留言悼念，同時也有許多當地居民，對於市內有體型如此龐大的野生鱷魚感到驚訝。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
