（中央社梵蒂岡11日綜合外電報導）阿根廷和德國將在世足決賽對戰，教廷對外界有關阿根廷籍現任教宗方濟各和德國籍前任教宗本篤16世在觀戰時敵對的說法，一笑置之。

教廷在回應媒體對前後兩任教宗是否會一同觀賽的猜測時，呼籲球迷在13日決賽前，先「靜下心來想想和平問題」，以緬懷戰爭和貧窮的受害者。

曾與先後2任教宗共事的1名教廷高層官員告訴記者，兩位教宗13日晚上將如何渡過，尚未決定。

這名官員透露，本篤16世並非足球迷；但又表示，「事情難說，目前的情況前所未見」。

至於拉丁美洲籍的方濟各，則肯定是個足球迷。

教廷宗座文化委員會發表聲明說，賽前的這種猜測固然「有趣」，但呼籲球迷靜下心來，「想想重要的事情」，比如和平。(中央社)
